This study examines the effect of gender and academic major on entrepreneurial intention and objective knowledge of artificial intelligence among Moroccan students. Using a quantitative approach conducted with 379 students from three universities, the analysis shows that gender significantly influences entrepreneurial intention, whereas academic major has a stronger effect on the level of AI knowledge. The findings indicate that artificial intelligence, despite its potential to broaden access and support entrepreneurial action, does not automatically eliminate existing disparities among students. Its appropriation remains shaped by educational context, academic trajectory, and social dynamics. The study highlights the importance of strengthening university mechanisms that promote entrepreneurial education, AI literacy, and inclusion, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education, gender equality, innovation, and reduced inequalities.
